Welcome to Hip Yoga - a new concept in the world of holistic holidays. We take yoga out of the realm of basic locations and punishing schedules, and into an environment where pampering and indulgence are just as important as health and detox. Hip Yoga combines instruction from some of the country's best teachers including Jean Hall, with first-class healthy gastronomy from Madonna's former chef Lauren Palmer.
Guests will also be spoilt with complimentary toiletries and beauty products from our friends at Kiehl's and Shu Uemura. This deeply rejuvenating retreat takes place within the beautiful surroundings and unique ambience of our venue Molino Bajo. As featured in Conde Nast Traveller May 2004 '10 Great Villas in Spain', Molino Bajo is a luxuriously and stylishly converted olive mill set in the idyllic setting of the foothills of Andalucia's spectacular mountain range, the Sierra Nevada. It has been designed with a heavy Moorish/Moroccan influence yet the house retains many of the original features from its milling past.
With the truly dramatic background of the snow-capped peaks shadowing sleepy, white-washed villages set amongst the citrus, almond and olive groves, Molino Bajo is the ultimate chill-out retreat in the most tranquil of locations. Throughout their stay guests will be treated to mouth watering food that also promotes wellbeing and increases stamina, created by celebrity chef Lauren Palmer. For Hip Yoga guests she has built a menu that will help us to send you home lighter and happier. All food is wheat, dairy and sugar free and will be the tastiest you have eaten in a long time.
A Hip Yoga holiday includes all of the following: * Yoga instruction * Three meals per day, prepared by our in-house chef, including roof-top Moroccan banquet under the stars on Wednesday evenings * Weekly massage with range of other treatments available * Complimentary Kiehl's toiletries and Shu Uemura beauty products * Use of Hip Yoga DVD and CD library * Transfers to and from airport on selected flights * Optional activities such as mountain biking, hiking, visits to Granada * Midweek towel and sheet changes with Fresh flowers and Bathrobes * Daily elixirs and fresh fruit juices * Daily fresh bread and fresh fruit delivery Hip Yoga is running over a six week period in 2005 from May 7th to June 18th, with individual weeks available Saturday to Saturday. Hip Yoga is available to individuals, couples, small groups and even the whole place can be booked for private parties/groups. Groups of 3 or more booking together will receive a 10% discount. Prices start from 1150 per person per week.
